Wood Duck
This was an angry little fellow. He was smaller than all the mallards and geese but he had a ferocious temper and every other feathered creature stayed clear of him This image is edited in a 2x3 aspect ratio Remember, if you choose to purchase a canvas print you will lose some of the edges to the wrap unless you chose the thin canvas for which you will still lose some of the image in the wrap. Finch
At first I mistook this little finch for a purple finch but upon closer examination I have estimated him to be a house finch based on his breast feathers. He and 40 of his friends played in my trees for several minutes before quietly disappearing. Red Finch Family
After a long 8 mile hike I came home to find this male and female finch family playing in the tree on the deck. They were so sweet I had to take a photo. Confession, I took 170 photos and this was really the only keeper. You have to keep shooting till you get the shot you love.
