  • Odinman

    Odinman

My Great Nephew shares his middle name with the Norse God Odin so I created a composite depicting him as the Norse God Odin. Odin had a spear named Gungnir which is fabled to have never missed it's mark. He also had two ravens that would spy on his enemies and bring back their secrets. To read the blog that tells the FULL story behind this photo, go to my blog: https://lizzieflower.blogspot.com/2019/12/whats-in-name-odinman-story-about.html NOTE: Due to time and subject restraints they spear, ravens and background are not original photos by me but instead they are stock images. If anyone has a spear I can take a photo of that will compare with this spear, I would love to take a photo of it. Thanks

  • Ballroom Princess

    Ballroom Princess

This photo of my granddaughter Midge was taken in her back yard. I was having trouble getting a good shot of her and I simply asked her to spin and this was the result. NOTE: The ballroom is a stock photo and if you know of a place anywhere similar to this scene I would love the opportunity to photograph it and replace this background with a new one. When I shower her this picture she was very confused then lit up and said, "Look, I'm a princess!"

  • Mary Poppins Midge

    Mary Poppins Midge

In commemoration of the remake of Mary Poppins and my trip to take my granddaughter to the theatre to see it I had her pose for this photo I took in the dining room of her house. The umbrella is actually the popcorn bowl that was bought at the theatre as a special promo. NOTE: the background photo is a stock photo and not taken by me. If I find a similar scene I will replace this one with a new one. This was actually a cemetery scene that I deleted the stones and added more flowers.

  • The Princess and the Toad

    The Princess and the Toad

I was having trouble getting my granddaughter to relax and pose in anything less than a full blown fashion pose so I acted as though I was changing settings on my camera and asked her to tell me a story. She knelt down and began talking to the bird on the birdbath beside her in her back yard where I took this photo. Later in processing I put her in the forest and added the toad. Upon showing her this photo she got very confused and said, "Grandma, I don't remember that frog" NOTE: The background and toad are stock photos and not taken by me.

  • Rykerman!

    Rykerman!

This building is in Hastings Nebraska and it is a favorite of my grandson Ryker who you see in this photo. We dressed him up a bit like Batman and posed him in the alley behind his house with a chunk of rope we found in the garage. He was not in the best of moods and acting like you would expect a three year old to act. Now that he is a little older he says to me, "Remember that day you woke up and couldn't find me and I was climbing that building?" His mother can't hang this picture on the wall, he carries it around with him.

  • Ryker Book Climb

    Ryker Book Climb

When I took this picture in my grandson's back yard I had no idea what I would do with it when I started envisioning him climbing a book and this was the result. No copyright infringement intended by the emblem on his sweatshirt.

Model: Natalie Irene Munster Crabb To Read my Blog about this photoshoot and to see more photos we took that day, go to: https://lizzieflower.blogspot.com/2018/10/vampire-photo-shoot_21.html No kidding, that is this models name and she is phenomenal. I love to photograph this lovely lady and she is always up for anything including this vampire based photoshoot we did at the Oxbow Rec Area near Downtown Reno Nevada. I replace the foreground and background and voila! you have an incredible fantasy shot. This composition was a lot of fun.
